Lea Michele Stars in 'Funny Girl' on Broadway









Lea Michele has announced that she will be starring in the Broadway production of Funny Girl until September. Michele, who is best known for her role as Rachel Berry on the hit show Glee, said that the experience has been “such a beautiful experience.” She also said that she is “so grateful” to be able to perform in the show and that she has “learned so much” from the experience.

Wayne Shorter: Jazz Innovator Passes Away









Legendary jazz saxophonist Wayne Shorter has died at the age of 93.


Shorter, who was born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1930, was a major figure in the jazz world for more than six decades. He was a member of the Miles Davis Quintet in the 1960s, and went on to become a leader of the jazz fusion movement in the 1970s.
