Lilibet Christened

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, was christened on Sunday in a private ceremony at the Queen's Windsor Castle home.

The ceremony was attended by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, their daughter, and the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, officiated the ceremony, which was held in the castle's private chapel.

The christening was a private affair, with only a few close family members in attendance. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, were not present, as they are currently on a royal tour of Scotland.

The christening was a special moment for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who welcomed their daughter in June of this year. Lilibet is the couple's second child, following the birth of their son, Archie, in 2019.

The name Lilibet is a special tribute to the Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. The name Diana is a tribute to Harry's late mother, Princess Diana.

The christening was a special moment for the royal family, as it was the first time the Queen has been able to meet her great-granddaughter in person.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been living in California since stepping back from their royal duties in 2020. They have been spending time with their children and have been involved in various charitable causes.

The christening of Lilibet marks a special moment for the royal family, as they come together to celebrate the newest addition to the family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been praised for their commitment to their children and their dedication to charitable causes.
