Jansen Panettiere, the younger brother of actor Hayden Panettiere, has died at the age of 28.
The news was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office on Wednesday. The cause of death is still under investigation.
Jansen was a musician and actor, appearing in a handful of films and television shows, including the 2009 film "Shrink" and the 2011 TV movie "The Perfect Summer."
He was also a member of the band The Last Internationale, which released its debut album in 2014.
Hayden, who is best known for her roles in "Heroes" and "Nashville," has yet to comment on her brother's death.
