Pamela Anderson's ex-husband Jon Peters, 77, claims he is leaving the Playboy model - who was his wife for only 12 days - $10M in his will

Pamela Anderson has been riding a fresh wave of celebrity thanks to her new book and documentary.

Now her ex-husband, 77-year-old Batman movie producer Jon Peters, has said he will leave her $10million dollars in his will 'whether she needs it or not.'

The pair have been longtime friends and walked down the aisle in 2020, but called off their union 12 days later. They still remained friends.

The paperwork was never filed, so they were never legally married, but the A Star is Born producer told Variety, 'I will always love Pamela, always in my heart.'

'As a matter of fact,' he continued, 'I left her $10 million in my will. And she doesn’t even know that. Nobody knows that. I’m just saying it for the first time with you. I probably shouldn’t be saying it. So that’s for her, whether she needs it or not.'

The former hairdresser, who has amassed a fortune of some $200 million, according to therichest.com, can certainly afford the gift, but it's unclear how his four adult children feel about it.

The City Hunter actress spoke fondly of her longtime friend, declaring, 'He’s great and has been a huge influence on my life. I love him to death.'

The former Playboy cover model will reveal more about her life in an upcoming documentary and memoir.

Love, Pamela, will hit store shelves on January 31, the same day Pamela, a Love Story debuts on Netflix. The film was produced by her son Brandon, 26.

The Canadian beauty has voiced her dismay at the Hulu series Pam and Tommy, which focused on her relationship with the Motley Crue rocker, and has refused to watch the show.

However, the animal activist, who now calls Vancouver, BC home, said she isn't angry with actress Lily James, who portrayed her in the eight episode limited series.

I think it’s hard to play somebody when you don’t know the whole picture. I’ve got nothing against Lily James. I think that she’s a beautiful girl and she was just doing the job. But the idea of the whole thing happening was just really crushing for me.'

How Does 'Wolf Pack' Tie Into 'Teen Wolf'?

Wolf Pack, a new series on Paramount+ from Teen Wolf and Criminal Minds creator Jeff Davis, follows four teenagers — Everett Lang (Armani Jackson), Blake Navarro (Bella Shepard), and twins Luna (Chloe Rose Robertson) and Harlan Briggs (Tyler Lawrence Gray) — as their lives are forever changed in the midst of California wildfires. While Luna and Harlan have known they were werewolves since they were born, a twist of fate leaves Everett and Blake with bites that begin the transformation. Meanwhile, Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Sarah Michelle Gellar returns to television as Kristin Ramsey, an investigator trying to determine the cause of the wildfires. She has her sights set on these teens as her way to find the arsonist. Ultimately, the series has a large story to tackle with the potential to provide great storytelling going forward.

However, the question on everyone’s minds since the series was announced with Davis at the helm is whether it is a spin-off of MTV’s Teen Wolf, which ran from 2011 to 2017 and starred Tyler PoseyDylan O’BrienTyler Hoechlin, and many other familiar faces. The series takes place in the fictional town of Beacon Hills, California. Scott (Posey) becomes the titular teen wolf and is sucked into a world of danger and monsters, putting his life and the lives of those closest to him at risk. He must learn how to be a werewolf and a hero and is forced to dig into the mystical rules of the universe. But with his best friend Stiles (O’Brien), there’s no threat too great to face. To further promote the new series Wolf Pack and provide some excitement for dedicated fans, the streamer also released Teen Wolf: The Movie for another journey with (most of) these beloved characters as an old foe rears its head and causes chaos once more.

Given the very obvious similarities between the two series, it’s easy to assume Wolf Pack is a continuation of the Teen Wolf universe, especially as there aren’t many werewolf stories being told in Hollywood. That’s not the case, though. They exist in different universes and have no connection in-show to one another. Davis has been very adamant about that fact in interviews, telling SFX Magazine, “There can be two werewolf shows that exist in separate spaces.” However, for those that were hoping for a different answer, there are still similarities that make Wolf Pack very accessible to fans of Teen Wolf.

First and foremost, both shows are created by Davis. He and his writing team have worked hard to ensure that Wolf Pack feels like a separate entity, but it definitely still has his signature touch on it. The way the world and characters are being crafted feels familiar, which is helpful to enjoy the ride and trust in the story. Friendships and other platonic relationships are at the forefront, helping to delve into the characters deeply right away. Second, the series focuses on teenagers, again. While they are dealing with supernatural forces, they are still left to confront their own challenges and continue their uniquely difficult lives. In fact, the focus on their own lives is undoubtedly the heart of the show with Wolf Pack, particularly as the wildfires impact at least three of the four teenagers very deeply in the first episode. Lastly, it seems so far that some of the attributes of being a werewolf are the same across both shows, though this could potentially change as Wolf Pack explores the lore and the “rules” in this universe a bit more going forward. These are the most notable similarities, but not the only similarities.

That said, it’s also exciting and quite a relief that the shows aren’t being forced to co-exist in the same universe. Teen Wolf had six seasons to tell a variety of stories that introduced new monsters and brought about new changes for the main characters about what it meant to be a werewolf (or any other monster). Plus, at a certain point in the series, every character in the universe had to become supernatural in some way or they didn’t have much to do when the town was being invaded by supernatural dangers on a near-constant basis. Simply put, the writers built an entire world for these characters. Adding them into a universe built for a different cast just wouldn’t feel right. Things had already become rather complex and convoluted by the end of the show — so much so that the recently-premiered movie rewrote and ignored much of the established lore about the Nogitsune to make the story work. Wolf Pack is a chance for Davis and the other writers to do things differently, listen to the complaints fans had about the supernatural rules, and avoid the same mistakes that Teen Wolf made along the way (as any show does, eventually). Given how every tale about vampires has differences between them, let’s see a brand-new take on werewolves… though perhaps let’s not make werewolves sparkle in the moonlight, you know? It’s exciting to think about the unique potential this story has with four vastly different and compelling characters being forced together to create their own pack by something they don’t quite understand yet.

As the story continues, both the similarities and differences between the two shows are exciting to see come to life. All in all, while Wolf Pack is a separate entity of its own with an exciting story and brand-new incredible cast, it will never really be completely disconnected from Teen Wolf. It’s just not possible when telling a story about more teenage werewolves, especially with both shows being overseen by the same creator. There will be purposeful and accidental connections and blatant differences that the writers thought long and hard about. Characters that share similar traits to those we’ve seen before. But, that’s all the magic of television. Whether you love or hate that there's not a more obvious connection between the two, Wolf Pack is a show you don’t want to miss.

Flooding triggers emergency in Auckland, washes out Elton John

Auckland airport, New Zealand´s largest, confirmed there would be no domestic or international departures or arrivals before noon local time on Saturday.

Wellington: A state of emergency was declared in Auckland on Friday after torrential rain caused widespread flooding in New Zealand´s largest city, closing the airport and forcing the cancellation of an Elton John concert.

Auckland mayor Wayne Brown told a news conference late on Friday he was "deeply saddened" after a body was found in a northern suburb. Police have not confirmed whether the death was a result of the flooding.

Flash floods turned many of Auckland´s roads into rivers as the wild weather closed the city´s airport, leaving some terminals ankle-deep in water.

Auckland airport, New Zealand´s largest, confirmed there would be no domestic or international departures or arrivals before noon local time on Saturday.

New Prime Minister Chris Hipkins, who was sworn in Wednesday after Jacinda Ardern´s shock resignation, wrote on Twitter that government agencies were "working flat out" to help.

He said the national crisis management centre, housed under the parliament building in the capital Wellington, was helping coordinate the emergency response.

The persistent downpour also washed out Elton John´s concert at Auckland´s Mount Smart Stadium amid concerns for crowd safety.

Emergency services were swamped by calls for help as civil defence officials warned residents to stay home.

Police also urged people to only contact emergency services if they were in "life-threatening" danger.

Brown said he would visit the worst-affected communities on Saturday to assess the damage and disruption as the clean-up begins.

"It´ll be a major, major job," he said.

Harrison Ford Would 'Love' to Do a Project with Wife Calista Flockhart — But They 'Haven't Found One Yet'

I'm hoping we will find something to do together," Ford tells PEOPLE Harrison Ford would "love" to work with his wife Calista Flockhart — but the Hollywood power couple hasn't found the right project yet.

At the premiere of his new Apple TV+ comedy series Shrinking in Los Angeles on Thursday night, Ford, 80, chatted with PEOPLE about working with Flockhart.

"We'd love to find one we could do together," says the legendary actor, who met Flockhart, 58, in 2002 at the Golden Globe Awards. The two tied the knot eight years later in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

But yeah, haven't found one yet," Ford adds of connecting with his wife on the right project.

Ford adds that the Ally McBeal alum is recently starting to act again after taking time off to focus on their son Liam, 22.

"She's just going back to work after having devoted herself to the raising of our son, Liam, for the last 20 years," he explains. "And she's enjoying going back to work. I'm hoping we will find something to do together."

Ford has been working nonstop recently with upcoming performances in Indiana Jones and the Dial of DestinyCaptain America: New World Order and Thunderbolts, as well as his first starring television role in 1923, Yellowstone's prequel spin-off — all in addition to his role in Shrinking.

The Academy Award nominee previously opened up about his love for "the challenge" of making film and TV at age 80 while speaking to The New York Times this past December.

I've been working pretty much back-to-back, which is not what I normally do," he said. "I don't know how it happened. But it happened."

And the Star Wars icon has no intention of retiring from the industry any time soon.

"I love it. I love the challenge and the process of making a movie. I feel at home. It's what I've spent my life doing," he said.

"I don't want to reinvent myself," Ford added. "I just want to work."

The first two episodes of Shrinking are streaming now on Apple TV+.

See Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Coolidge Goofing Off in Singer's Hotel Room: 'J.Lo and J.Co'

The pals have been hanging together while out promoting their new movie Shotgun Wedding, streaming now on Prime Video.

Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Coolidge make an epic dynamic duo.

The pals have been seen joking around together recently on social media while out promoting their new movie, Shotgun Wedding — like on Thursday, when Lopez posted a video to Instagram that further displayed her hilarious chemistry with "J.Co." Found this in my phone ... " Lopez, 53, wrote to fans with a cryinlaughing emoji.@ShotgunWeddingMovie premieres TONIGHT on @PrimeVideo!!!! But only If you feel like laughing … JLo & JCo.

You know, this is so weird, this isn't my hotel room," Coolidge, 61, said at the top of the clip. "This is J.Lo's hotel room. Oh my God, I'm on your phone."

"Hey JLovers," the White Lotus star continued, addressing the superstar's fans. "I'm not J.Lo, but I'm ... loving you JLovers."

"Her jewels are in here," Coolidge announced while looking around below her, then added, "I'm going to be in so much trouble."

After a string of bleeped-out swears, Coolidge whispered, laughing, "I wanna find her lashes. She has lashes that are, like, two inches long, but you can't quite tell that they're fake."

The low-light, behind-the-scenes video then cuts to a more professional shot of the ladies filming in front of a green screen.

"Remember, you can stream Shotgun Wedding," Lopez said. "Starring me!" Coolidge chimed in.

"And me! Exclusively on Prime Video, Jenuary 27th," Lopez said, playfully scolding Coolidge that she was "supposed to say that part" with her.

The pair went back and forth laughing until they finally got it out in unison. "Don't forget. We'll see you there," Lopez told the camera before they both concluded, "Bye!"

The 2023 Golden Globe winner just debuted her first TikTok on Jan. 19 — with a special guest appearance from Lopez.

Coolidge recited Lopez's 2002 megahit "Jenny from the Block" to celebrate joining the platform.

Hi, this is my first TikTok and I was trying to think of something cool to do," she said, standing in front of a green screen wearing an evening gown — the same setup as the video Lopez just dropped.

"I think I'm just gonna do a poem that I like," added the American Pie alum.

Not even attempting to sing the lyrics, Coolidge then talked out the tune, over-enunciating the words for her impromptu "poetry" reading.

Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got," Coolidge said, feigning depth as she slowly recited the words. "I'm still Jenny. Jenny. Jenny from the block." She even happened to be wearing big hoops — a trademark style of the era.

The camera then cut to a pretty-in-pink Lopez, who played into her pal's bit with a moved expression on her face. "I like that," she said, nodding. "I really, really like that."

Cue the approving fan comments. "Not since Leslie Jordan have I been so excited to see someone join TikTok," one follower wrote in support of the hilarious star.

Only Jennifer Coolidge would be able to master TikTok on her first TikTok," quipped another.

Coolidge and Lopez first made their joint social-media debut at the Shotgun Wedding premiere, where Lopez posted an Instagram Live video from the film's Hollywood afterparty on Jan. 18 that included a cute kiss from husband Ben Affleck and a sweet moment with Coolidge.

The video started with Lopez and Coolidge chatting and dancing. Soon, Lopez realized it was an Instagram Live and addressed the camera.

"We're here at the Shotgun Wedding premiere," she said, smiling widely with her arm around Coolidge. "It was so amazing. We had such a great time."

Shotgun Wedding — also starring Josh Duhamel, Sônia Braga, Lenny Kravitz and Cheech Marin — is available to stream now on Prime Video.
