Russia claims Ukraine plotted to assassinate Putin by attacking the Kremlin.

Recently, Russia has accused Ukraine of planning an assassination attempt on Russian President Vladimir Putin by attacking the Kremlin. According to Russian intelligence, Ukrainian military intelligence was behind the plan, which was meant to take place in March 2022. The alleged plan was to use a drone carrying a powerful explosive to target Putin's residence inside the Kremlin.

The Ukrainian government has denied the allegations, calling them baseless and fabricated. Ukrainian officials have also accused Russia of using these allegations as a pretext to escalate tensions between the two countries.

This is not the first time that Russia has accused Ukraine of plotting to assassinate Putin. In 2016, Russian intelligence claimed to have uncovered a plot by Ukrainian intelligence to assassinate Putin, but no evidence was ever presented to support the claim.

Tensions between Russia and Ukraine have been high since Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014 and its subsequent support for separatists in eastern Ukraine. The conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 13,000 people, and efforts to resolve it through diplomacy have been largely unsuccessful.

The latest allegations by Russia are likely to further strain relations between the two countries. The situation is concerning, and it is essential that both sides work towards finding a peaceful solution to the conflict. The international community should also play a role in de-escalating the tensions and promoting dialogue between the two countries.
