Lori Vallow Daybell, a former blogger and Idaho mother, has been found guilty of killing two of her children. The jury deliberated for just over eight hours before delivering the verdict, which includes two counts of first-degree murder.




The case gained national attention in 2019 when Vallow's children, 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, were reported missing. Vallow and her husband, Chad Daybell, fled to Hawaii shortly thereafter and were eventually arrested on charges of child abandonment and contempt of court.




As the investigation unfolded, authorities discovered that both children had been killed months before they were reported missing. JJ's body was found buried on Daybell's property in Idaho, while Tylee's remains were discovered in a nearby national park.
