Colts owner warns NFL teams against tampering with retired quarterback Andrew Luck.

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has issued a stern warning to other NFL teams against tampering with retired quarterback Andrew Luck. In a recent interview with the Indianapolis Star, Irsay said that he would not hesitate to take action against any team that tries to lure Luck out of retirement.

Luck, who retired from the NFL in 2019 at the age of 29, has been the subject of speculation regarding a potential comeback. Rumors have swirled around the former Stanford standout, with some NFL teams reportedly showing interest in signing him if he decides to return to the league.

However, Irsay made it clear that he is not willing to entertain any offers for Luck's services. "I've made it clear that Andrew is retired," Irsay said. "Irsay family is very protective of him. So, we wouldn't want him to be in a situation where he gets traded or something like that."

The Colts owner's warning comes amid reports that some NFL teams have already reached out to Luck's representatives to gauge his interest in returning to football. Irsay's comments suggest that he is ready to take legal action against any team that tries to tamper with Luck, who was a four-time Pro Bowler during his seven-year career with the Colts.

While it remains to be seen whether Luck will ever return to the NFL, Irsay's message is clear: the Colts will not let other teams poach one of their most valuable assets
