Carlo Ancelotti "excited" about Brazil job link

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his excitement about the possibility of taking over as Brazil's national team coach. In an interview with Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, Ancelotti said that he would be "honoured" to coach the five-time World Cup winners.

"I am excited about the prospect of coaching Brazil," said Ancelotti. "It would be an honour for me to coach a team with such a rich footballing history and tradition."

Ancelotti has a wealth of experience managing top European clubs, including Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich, and is regarded as one of the best managers in the world. He has won numerous domestic and international titles, including the Champions League three times, and would bring a wealth of expertise to the Brazil job.

The Italian coach's comments come amid reports that the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is considering him as a potential replacement for Tite, who has been in charge of the national team since 2016. Tite's contract is set to expire after the 2022 World Cup, and there has been speculation that the CBF may be looking for a change.

It remains to be seen whether Ancelotti will be approached by the CBF, but his comments are sure to spark excitement among Brazilian football fans. The Selecao are currently ranked third in the FIFA world rankings and will be among the favourites to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

In the meantime, Ancelotti's focus will be on his current job at Real Madrid, where he has led the team to a strong start to the season. The Spanish giants are currently top of La Liga and are among the favourites to win the Champions League, a competition Ancelotti has won on three previous occasions.
