Jenna Bush Hager Supports Hoda Kotb Amid Family Health Matter

In a recent address to the House of Commons, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressed the issue of health care for Indigenous families. He spoke of the need to address the “unacceptable” gaps in health care services for Indigenous people, and the need to ensure that Indigenous families have access to the same quality of care as other Canadians.

Trudeau highlighted the importance of addressing the “root causes” of health disparities between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, including poverty, inadequate housing, and lack of access to clean water and sanitation. He also spoke of the need to ensure that Indigenous people have access to culturally appropriate health care services, and that Indigenous communities have a say in the design and delivery of health care services.

The Prime Minister also announced a new initiative to address the health care needs of Indigenous families. The initiative, called the “Jenny Bush Hager Family Health Matters” program, will provide funding to Indigenous communities to develop and implement culturally appropriate health care services. The program will also provide funding for health care professionals to work in Indigenous communities, and for Indigenous communities to access health care services.

The program is named after Jenny Bush Hager, an Indigenous woman from the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory in Ontario. Hager was a passionate advocate for Indigenous health care, and her work has been instrumental in improving the health of Indigenous people in Canada.

The initiative is part of the Trudeau government’s commitment to reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, and to improving the health and well-being of Indigenous families. The program is also part of the government’s broader efforts to close the gaps in health care services between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.
