Warriors Mock Trade to Ease Cap Pressure

The Golden State Warriors have been rumored to be in the market for a new guard, and the latest mock trade has them sending D’Angelo Russell to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Jordan Poole. This move would give the Warriors a young, talented guard who could help them compete for a championship in the near future.

Poole, a 6-foot-5 guard out of Michigan, was the 28th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He has shown flashes of potential in his two seasons with the Pistons, averaging 8.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. He has also shot 37.2% from three-point range, which could be a valuable asset for the Warriors.

The Warriors have been looking for a guard to pair with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, and Poole could be the perfect fit. He is a good shooter, a solid defender, and has the potential to be a great playmaker. He could also provide the Warriors with some much-needed depth at the guard position.

The Warriors have been struggling this season, and this move could be the spark they need to get back on track. Poole could be the missing piece to help the Warriors make a deep playoff run. If the Warriors can pull off this trade, they could be a force to be reckoned with in the Western Conference.
