SAG Awards 2023: 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' Wins Big

 



The 2021 SAG Awards were held on Sunday, February 26th, and the night was filled with surprises and excitement. The awards show, which honors the best performances in film and television, was hosted by Leslie Jones and featured a star-studded lineup of presenters.


The night’s big winners included Chadwick Boseman, who won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Viola Davis won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her performance in the same film.


The cast of Schitt’s Creek won the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, while the cast of The Crown won the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.


Other notable winners included Daniel Kaluuya, who won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in Judas and the Black Messiah, and Yuh-Jung Youn, who won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her performance in Minari.


The night also featured a special tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who was honored with a posthumous award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role. The tribute was met with a standing ovation from the audience.


Overall, the 2021 SAG Awards was a night to remember, with many deserving actors and actresses being honored for their incredible performances.
