LeBron James Injury Update After Lakers-Mavericks Game

LeBron James suffered a foot injury during the Los Angeles Lakers' win over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. The injury occurred in the fourth quarter when James stepped on the foot of Mavericks guard Luka Doncic. James immediately grabbed his right foot and limped off the court.

The Lakers' medical staff examined James' foot and determined that he had suffered a mild sprain. He was able to return to the game and finish out the win, but he was seen limping after the game.

James is expected to miss the Lakers' next game against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. He will be re-evaluated on Wednesday to determine the extent of the injury and whether he will be able to return to the court.

The Lakers are already without Anthony Davis, who is out with a calf strain. The team is hoping that James' injury is not serious and that he will be able to return to the court soon.

In the meantime, the Lakers will have to rely on their other stars, such as Kyle Kuzma and Dennis Schroder, to carry the load. The team will also need to get contributions from their bench players, such as Talen Horton-Tucker and Alex Caruso, if they want to remain competitive in the Western Conference.
